We see a lot of buildings throughout the day, and each of them has a story.
Situated in Dumbo, The River Café is easily one of the most breathtaking restaurants in New York City. After Hurricane Sandy, the famed River Café was flooded by 4 feet of water and was shut down for over 15 months for renovations. Restauranteur and owner, Michael “Buzzy” O’Keeffe, spent millions of dollars to restore the waterside café. We had the opportunity to dine there last week, and we were absolutely blown away by the food and the views.

As the waiter greets you with his team of associate waiters, you might even forget that you came there to eat, because the views of Downtown Manhattan are sure to distract you. The menu is prix-fixe at $135 and spans fresh seafood options, steaks grilled to perfection, and a number of other American Nouveau options. We definitely recommend the Brooklyn Bridge for dessert – you will not be disappointed! After dinner, feel free to roam around the lighted outdoor park, where you’ll feel like you’ve entered a fairy wonderland of sorts.

One of the most romantic spots in all of NYC, you’re definitely going to be in for a treat!
