If you remember NYC even several years ago, Hell’s Kitchen was not what it is today. The transformations in the area have been nothing short of incredible, as what used to be a fairly run down area with affordable options has now grown into a landscape of luxury and high-rises. Home to America’s most expensive development project ($20B+ price tag), Hudson Yards has redefined Hell’s Kitchen and has (literally) paved the way for a slew of similar projects. One of them is Extell’s 555Ten. We had the opportunity to tour the project last week, and we were amazed by the building!

In typical Extell Development fashion, the building is flooded with amenities that you would expect to find in a condo – not a 600-unit rental with 90 affordable housing lottery tickets! Some of these amenities include two – not one – swimming pools (both indoor and outdoor rooftop), rooftop club with indoor/outdoor fireplaces, fully equipped indoor bike service station/storage, sundeck with cabanas on the roof, a dog park (combined with a vet service, grooming, and play group service), children’s playroom and arcade, top-of-the-line fitness studio offering yoga along with other classes, 24-hour doorman + concierge, an arcade, and a private bowling alley (shoes are included) – oh, and of course, a mobile app to manage all these services and amenities from the convenience of your smart phone. The list goes on! With 56 stories of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom rentals, prices at 555Ten range between $3,000 for a studio to a little over $10,000 for a 3-bedroom. In addition to the market rate units, Extell added 90 affordable units into the mix starting at $613.
